CONGRATULATIONS H.E.S. HURRICANES!
The weekend of June 15 and 16th, the H.E.S. Swim Team had swimmers placing top three overall in their events and age group at the International Swim Meet at Lehman College. Big shoutout to our 10 and under swimmers, Ari Crooks and Leah Wehner, for qualifying for the 2023 Metropolitan Long Course Age Group championship formerly known as Junior Olympics.
Our coaches were also awarded coaching awards at the Meet. Great times and achievements by all.
Another huge congratulation to our Hurricanes
My son has been swimming with the H.E.S. swim team for the past 6 years. He truly feels that the H.E.S. is his second home and his team and coaches are his second family. I have worked at different community centers and organizations but I have never experienced an atmosphere as welcoming and supportive as the H.E.S.. I can recommend, without any hesitation, to anyone who lives in south Brooklyn to come and enjoy a multitude of activities for children and adults. We drive 30-45 minutes 5 days a week to get to the H.E.S., but I know that my child is getting quality instruction in a supportive atmosphere. – Veronica, 2019
